Decatur Slim

Decatur Slim was a rapper from Decatur, Georgia. He started rapping in 2011 but was convicted in 2014 on charges of theft of government funds and aggravated identity theft and was sentenced to serve seven years and three months in federal prison. After his release from prison in 2020, he returned to the recording studio, saying he hoped to "bring gangsta back". He was shot to death and set on fire in an abandoned vehicle during a violent NBA All-Star weekend in Atlanta in 2021.
